Commitment to Visitors with a Disability
WYDCA will ensure that the NSW Government services, specifically public transport, health and medical services, which have been committed in support of WYD08, are provided in an equitable, dignified and safe manner to pilgrims with a disability and their carers.
If you have already registered as a pilgrim please go to the WYD08 website to find further information on the services available to you during WYD08.

If you need this Disability Guide in a version which is accessible to screen reading software, please send an email to contactus@wydca.nsw.gov.au so that we can email a copy to you directly.
Commitment to the Non-event Community of People with a Disability
WYDCA will endeavour to ensure that people with disabilities and their carers have access to the full range of Government services during the WYD08 event period in line with the intent and objectives of the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA), 1992. It is the intention of WYDCA to minimise the impacts of WYD08 events for the non event community, inclusive of people with a disability.
For those not participating in World Youth Day events, click here for a copy of the Transport Guide for non-event participants.
