Final Mass celebrated by the Pope will start at 10am at Southern Cross Precinct (Randwick Racecourse and Centennial Park), with the announcement of next host city at 12.30pm. The Pope will fly over the precinct at 9am, and drive through Centennial Park and Randwick Racecourse in the Pope-mobile prior to the start of the Final Mass.
While preferential access to Randwick will be provided to registered pilgrims, there are some general public passes that will be handed out on the day on a first come first serve basis. Once Randwick is full the general public will be directed to join the event at Centennial Park. People interested in attending the Final Mass should walk the 4km route from Central station and plan to be in place by 9am. Additional train and bus services will be operating from 4.00am.
