We want WYD08 participants to have a safe and healthy visit, while we continue to provide quality health services to the NSW community.

Existing health service levels for the general public will continue as usual during WYD08.

Information on this site has been prepared in consultation with NSW Health for both WYD participants and members of the wider community.

In an emergency dial 000 – this is a free call from any phone. The operator will ask if you want or need: Police, Fire or Ambulance. Interpreter services can be made available if required.

For WYD08 participants

Always make sure you wear a hat, sun protective clothing and sunscreen when you are outdoors - even if it looks cloudy you can still get sunburnt.
