Travelling by train

Travelling by ferry

Travelling by Taxi
Taxis provide great flexibility in meeting the needs of individual travellers. They can also be cost-effective if four or five people are going to the same place. Avoid travelling by car
As this is a public transport event, there will be strictly limited car access to areas surrounding WYD08 venues, as participants are expected to make their pilgrimage on foot.
Road closures and other changed traffic arrangements around WYD08 venues will restrict access for other motorists to the city. Special arrangements will be in place for local residents.
