Randwick Parking Scheme

Please note:  One hour special event parking restrictions have been installed over a two kilometre radius around Randwick Racecourse to help reduce congestion and minimise the impact of the event on residents who need on-street parking.  The one hour special event parking restrictions will be in operation on Friday 18, Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 July.

It is important to note that existing restrictions such as No Stopping and No Standing; and time restricted parking areas such as one hour or two hour will remain in operation unless the existing signposts have been covered over by the road authority.

The special event parking scheme will operate in streets that are normally not restricted, or in areas where overnight there are no parking restrictions in place.

Additionally some streets during the event will be special event clearways.  Please check signposting before parking as the World Youth Day special event parking permits do not apply in streets where clearways are installed.  Vehicles parked in clearways will be towed away and a towing fee will apply.
